Artist. He was born in Valencia, Spain. He was the founder of the Grupo Z, representative of the vanguard painters after Spanish Civil War. In the 1950s, he moved to Paris, where he lived during the last thirty years and where he become a representative of the Jeune Peinture. He designed the scenery of the plays "La Dama Duende," "La Enamorada del Rey" and "Antígona." He died in a train, way to Valencia.
