Quirk, John "Jack" W.

John "Jack" W. Quirk, age 83, a Two Rivers resident, was born to eternal life on Saturday afternoon, March 22, 2014 at his residence.

He was born on July 5, 1930 in Racine, son of the late George and Alice (Akey) Quirk. Jack graduated from St. Catherine High School in Racine and also graduated from Dominican College also in Racine. He served in the US Navy in the Medical Corps. On August 18, 1956 he married Marilyn Schiman at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Two Rivers. Jack was employed at the office of C. Rice Coal Co., the office manager for Schutte Construction and later was the office manager for Manitowoc Grey Iron Foundry until his retirement in 1994. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and also served as Grand Knight. Jack was a member of the Men of St. Peter the Fisherman and also served as Lector, Server and a member of the Choir. Additionally, he was a member of the Two Rivers Jaycees.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years: Marilyn Quirk; one son and daughter-in-law: John and Nancy Quirk; two daughters and sons-in-law: Jill and Randy Kellner, Jayne and John Sinn; five grandchildren: Andrew (Anna) Quirk, Michael Quirk, Kyle, Kody and Kollen Kellner; one sister: Mary Quirk Allman. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was also preceded in death by one sister: Patricia (Jack) Denner; one brother: William Quirk; his mother-in-law and father-in-law: Marcella and Edward Schiman.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Tom Reynebeau. Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc and Jack will be laid to rest at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers from 9:00 AM until 10:15 AM.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Jack's name to St. Peter the Fisherman or the Two Rivers Ecumenical Pantry.
