Ploeckelmann, Barbara A. "Plucky"

Barbara A. "Plucky" Ploeckelmann, age 71, of Two Rivers, died on Monday evening, March 17, 2014, at the Hamilton Care Center.

Barb was born March 31, 1942, in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Alvin and Loretta (Ruthmansdorfer) Ploeckelmann. She had been employed at Mirro Aluminum for six years retiring from Hamilton Mfg. after 41 years in 1997. She was a member of the fraternal order of the Eagles Auxiliary #2433. Barb loved photography and was always seen with her camera. She was an excellent cook and she enjoyed sharing her dishes with her fellow employees at Hamilton Mfg. Barb was a member of the Two Rivers Pool League and Dartball League. She was very proud of her father's founding and family's continuation of the Two Rivers July 4th Fireworks which will be celebrating 70 plus years this July. Barb would like everyone to toast her with a glass of her favorite drink, "Tequila Rose".

Survivors include one brother and two sisters-in-law: Robert and Sue Ploeckelmann, Green Bay; Carol Ploeckelmann, Two Rivers; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by six brothers and seven sisters-in-law: LaVern (Beverly) Ploeckelmann, Richard (Marion) Ploeckelman, Gerald Ploeckelmann, Alvin Jr. (Wilma) Ploeckelmann, Raymond (Mabel) Ploeckelmann, Donald (Patricia) Ploeckelmann, Joann Koch, and Marion Ploeckelmann.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, March 22, 2014, at the Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be Deacon Paul Gleichner. Entombment will be at Knollwood Mausoleum on Monday.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11: 30 a.m.
