Anna Marie (Colohan) Michels

Anna Marie (Colohan) Michels was born in Elizabeth, NJ, on January 8, 1920. She died peacefully in hospice care in Colorado Springs, CO on March 18, 2017.

In 1944 Anna Marie married John Michels from Grant, Fl. They settled in New Jersey and raised four children. Anna Marie was a homemaker, a secretary, and worked in civil service for many years.

She and John later retired to Sebastian, Fl., and enjoyed time with family and friends in the area. She participated in many activities including the Fletcher Music Club and the Computer Club. She was also a volunteer helping seniors. She moved to Colorado Springs to be near her daughter, Joann, in 2006.

She is survived by her daughter Joann (William) Wysong, daughter Maureen (Gary) Kochon, son Robert (Toni) Michels, son William (Sharron) Michels, and by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was a kind and generous woman who always wanted the best for everyone around her.
