The Huntsville Times, Thursday, January 14, 1999: Bobbie Mason, 58, of Elora Road died Tuesday at a Chattanooga hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Oakley Baptist Church. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery with Gallant Funeral Home of Hazel Green, Ala., in charge. Mrs. Mason was Baptist and a seamstress at Stewman Fashions. Survivors include her husband, Dwight Mason of Elora; one son, Terry Williams of Elora; three daughters, Melody Simmons of New Market, Ala., Carrie Rice of Vanntown and Denise Day of Huntsville, Ala.; her mother, Oma Mooney Owens of Elora; three sisters, Betty Jo Bates and Mary Jane Cagle, both of Shelbyville, and Geraldine Walker of Tullahoma; three brothers, Ed Owens of Plevna, Stanford Owens of Elora and Charles Owens of Tullahoma; and 10 grandchildren.
