Bailey, Winston-Salem, NC; daughter and son-in-law, Margaret B. and James Barbabella, Santa Barbara, Calif.; a brother, George M. Maxwell Jr., Rosewell, NM; sisters, Mary Jane Maxwell, Roanoke, Emma Hunter Maxwell, Roanoke, Caroline Highfill, Roanoke, Jean Hobbie, Richmond; grandchildren, Mary Whichard, Palmer Bailey, John Bailey Jr., Amy Barbabella, Matt Barbabella.

Graveside interment services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 26, 1995, at East Hill Cemetery, with the Rev. Tupper Garden officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Lotz Funeral Home, Salem.
