W. L. Hypes Dies; Services Tuesday
VICTOR, Feb. 23 (RNS) - Willie L. Hypes, 85, of Victor died at 6 a.m. today at his home. Death was attributed to a heart condition. He had been ill for two months.
Hypes was a retired farmer and member of the Sunday Road Baptist Church.
He was born in Nicholas County June 9, 1873.
Survivors include two brothers, Luther of Poe and Wilbur Hypes of Wiona; two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Sewell of Victor and Sally Hypes of Graydon; one son, Stanley Hypes of Victor; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted in the Sunday Road Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Eugene Brown and the Rev. W. H. McClung in charge. Burial will be in the Haynes Chapel Cemetery at Victor.
The body will be removed from Collins Funeral Home in Glen Jeab to the Hypes residence at 4 p.m. Monday.
