Mrs. Flora E. Blakesley, a native of Lodi and widely known and loved in this area, passed away yesterday at Providence Hospital in Oakland. She was 72 years of age.
She is survived by six children: Marie Fellows, Lilo Bona, Elizabeth Smith, Deleia Cook, all of Oakland and Carrol Squire and Harry Squire, both of Lodi.
Mrs. Blakesly had been feeling ill for the past several months and had been on a visit in Oakland at the time she was forced to go to the hospital. Her home had been maintained for years on West Oak street.
She was a member of the Lodi Pythian Sisters and a charter member of the Lodi chapter, No. 22, American Legion Auxiliary.
