Voncile Leola Higdon, 75, of Enterprise died on January 27, 1999 at her home. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Hopewell Cemetery in Hanceville with Rev. Rick Hand officiating. Searcy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include her husband, William Frank Higdon; her sons, Bruce Franklin Higdon of Ozark and Larry Rondal Higdon of Enterprise; her sisters, Faynell Frances Powell of Saginaw, Michigan and Vondalee Alma Powell of Decatur; her brothers, Albert Titus Hale of White City, Billy Joe Hale of Somerville, Franklin Delano Hale of Warrior, and Norman Spencer Hale of Vinemont; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
