Survivors include his wife, Mary Lois (Handley) Hale; his sons, David Harold Hale, Jr. of Cullman and Donald Hale of Centreville; his brothers, Albert Titus Hale of White City, Billy Joe Hale of Priceville, Franklin Delano Hale of Warrior, and Norman Spencer Hale of Cullman; his sisters, Faynell Frances Powell of Saginaw, Michigan, Voncile Leola Higdon of Enterprise, and Vondalee Alma Powell of Decatur; four grandchildren; andone great-grandchild.
