Mary DRISCOLL was born in 1856 in Lisheen, Aughadown, near Roaringwater Bay, the daughter of John O'Driscoll and Julia Harrington O'Driscoll.
Mary DRISCOLL went to America to find work with her sister Ellen, but returned after her sister Ellen died to marry Randal BURKE in about 1888.
Randal and Mary had six children. All of their children immigrated to America. Later their son Michael returned home to inherit the BURKE family farm on Loughine.
Mary is buried with her DRISCOLL forefathers as is the custom in that part of Ireland.
