Chester Bennett, 64, Buried Tuesday

Mr. Chester Bennett passed away at the Memorial Community Hospital Friday evening, November 18th. Rosary was held at the Bendorf Funeral Home Monday evening and funeral services were at the St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church at 10 a.m. on November 22nd. Father Patrick Nolan officiated.

Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Charles Seltz, Rolland Smith, Bernard Thompson, Frank Cope, Ray Rosenbaum and Elmer R. Jensen.

Mr. Bennett was born at Seymour, Indiana on January 27th, 1902, to Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bennett. His father is deceased.

Mr. Bennett and Grace Sully were married February 17, 1931. They lived on a farm before moving to Blair. He was employed at the Kelly Ryan Company for many years until his retirement several years ago.

Survivors besides his wife, Grace, are three sons, Dr. Wm. Bennett and Jack Bennett of Marion, Iowa, Robert Bennett of Blair and a daughter Ann of Blair. Also his mother, Mrs. Laura Bennett; eight grandchildren and a brother Guy.
