Cecil Dodd, aged 21, son of Scott Dodd of Kingmont, died yesterday evening at Fairmont Hospital, where he had been a patient since last Friday suffering from injuries he received when he was kicked by a mule while at his work at the Virginia and Pittsburg coal mines there. His skull was fractured. The funeral will take place on Thursday morning and burial will be made in the Davis Ridge Cemetery by Undertakers Carpenter and Ford. Services will be conducted from the family residence. He is survived by his parents, two brothers, Hobert and John, one sister, Miss Jessie, and by two half brothers, William and Harvey.
