Boyd Anderson of Eubank, Pulaski County, Kentucky, died at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky after a short illness. He was 56 years old.

He was an employee of Tecumseh Products, Inc. for 15 years. He was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.

He was survived by his wife, Reba (Hamlin) Anderson; his son, Randall Anderson of Eubank, Kentucky; his daughter, Elaine New of Eubank, Kentucky; his brothers, Huston Anderson of Kettering, Ohio, Otis Anderson of South Lebanon, Ohio, Hurstle Anderson of Dayton, Ohio, Edward Anderson of Hillsboro, Ohio, Jeff Anderson of Fairborn, Ohio, and Gary Anderson of Pine Knot, Kentucky; his sisters, Geneva Vanover of Lancaster, Kentucky, Betty Kidd of Pine Knot, Kentucky, and Rochelle Meadors of Williamsburg, Kentucky; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Wiley Anderson and Nancy (Neal) Anderson; his brother, Arlis Anderson; and his sister, Berniece Anderson.

Funeral services were held at the Pleasant View Baptist Church with Reverend Vola Brown and Reverend Albert McKinney officiating.

Morris and Hislope Golden Rule Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
