She was born to Kurt and Dorothy Koehler on March 14, 1919, in Portland. Mrs. Munro attended the Catlin School and Scripps College in Claremont, Calif. She later taught at the Shady Hill School in Boston.
In June 1964, she married F. Warren Munro in Portland. He died in 1987.
She was a member of the Racquet Club, Waverly Country Club, Portland Garden Club, Japanese Guardian Society, Junior League and the Altar Guild of Trinity.
Survivors include her sons, Peter R. Mersereau of Portland and John G. Mersereau of Arch Cape; daughter, Susan Mersereau White of Seattle; sister, Virginia K. Schlesser of Portland; brother, Peter H. Koehler of Bend; and 12 grandchildren.
