Anna Heistand Newcomer, 76, formerly of Elizabethtown and Mount Joy, died Wednesday afternoon at the Mennonite Home after a short illness. She was the wife of the late Flory Newcomer, who died in 1967. Born in Landisville, she was a daughter of the late Harry B. and Emma Stehman Heistand. She was a member of the Elizabethtown Church of God. Surviving are two sons, Kenneth H. and Gene H. Newcomer, both of Mount Joy; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; and two brothers, Stehman Heistand of New Holland and Roy Heistand of Elizabethtown. (Intelligencer Journal - Dec 4, 1986)
