FATAL ACCIDENT.—New Year's day was marked with a painful accident. Mr. Abram Seaman, residing about one mile north of the Nanuet station, was engaged in raising a heavy piece of timber in the construction of a cider mill, when it fell, striking him on the breast.
Though at first it was not supposed that he was seriously injured, yet he soon after grew worse, and with a few hours died.
