---Frankie Merle Davison, 91, of LaPlata, Missouri, formerly of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Monday morning (October 31, 1994) at the LaPlata Nursing Home in LaPlata, Missouri.
---The daughter of John L. and Leona Green Miller, she was born April 2, 1903 in Schuyler County, Missouri. On August 19, 1925 in Macon County, Missouri she was united in marriage to Barton Davison who preceded her in death on January 20, 1982.
---Also preceding her in death were her parents; one son in infancy Ronald; three brothers Glen, Victor and Leroy Miller; one sister Letha Miller and one great-grandson, James Michael Madison.
---Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law Barton Jr. and Rosena Davison of LaPlata, Missouri; one daughter and son-in-law Evelyn and Bill Kellison of Kirksville, Missouri; one sister Tressie Green of Canton, Missouri; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson and several nieces and nephews and cousins.
---Mrs. Davison received her education in the Schuyler County School and lived most of her life on a farm that was located northeast of LaPlata, Missouri.
---Mrs. Davison was a fifty-year member of the Women's Progressive Farmers Association and was a member of the LaPlata Presbyterian Church in LaPlata, Missouri.
---She enjoyed her family and friends and was always ready to lend a helping hand.
---Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Thursday (November 3, 1994) at the Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, Missouri. The Reverend Virgil Clow will officiate the service. Music will be provided by Dianthe Cable, organist and Audra Jackson, soloist. The selections will be "In The Garden" and "How Great Thou Art." Burial will be in the Union Cemetery in Gibbs, Missouri.
---Pallbearers will be Randy Kellison, Roger Kellison, Craig Guiles, John Danner, Terry Davison, Carl Mitchell and Melvin Dennis.
---Visitation is in progress at the Travis-Now Funeral Home in Kirksville and the family will receive friends from six to eight o'clock this evening, Wednesday (November 2, 1994) in the Travis-Noe Funeral Home, 1008 Potter Avenue, Kirksville, Missouri.
---An expression of sympathy in memory of Frankie Merle Davison may be made to the LaPlata Nursing Home. Memorials may be left at or mailed to the Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, Missouri 63501.
