Mrs. Mary "Polly" Mershon, 81 years old, 821 North Tenth Street, died at 9 o'clock Thursday night at her home. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Martha Carroll and Mrs. Pauline Sartain, both of Terre Haute, Mrs. Mary Bullock of Cicero, Ill., and Mrs. Josephine Harris of West Terre Haute; two sons, William and Edward, both of Terre Haute; one brother, Oscar Schulz of Bloomington; a sister Mrs. Selma Hukle of Dresser; 23 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. The body is at the Gillis Memory Chapel where friends may call after noon Saturday. Funeral services will be held there at 10 o'clock Monday morning with burial in Roselawn Memorial Park.
