Miss Pearson was born Sept. 13, 1893, in Sweden. Her father died when she was a young girl, and she came to the United States with her mother. They lived at Hallock, where he mother's sister lived. Her mother was remarried, to Charles Walsted, and they moved to Bemidji in 1903. She attended school here and at St. Vincent's Nursing School in Crookston. She then went to work for the hospital in Bemidji and was a nurse in the obstetrics department for almost 40 years, retiring in 1964. She had lived at Northland Apartments for several years before moving to Beltrami Nursing Home last November.
She is survived by a cousin in Minneapolis.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.
