Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late William Clarence Gambrell and Margie Moore Gambrell Godfrey. Member: Walnut Grove Baptist Church. Retired: F.L. Aerospace-Grimes Division.
Survivors: A son, Gene Saxon of Hodges; a brother, William Leon Gambrell of Honea Path; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Predeceased: A son, Thomas Dale Saxon.
Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at Parker-White Funeral Home. Service: 3 p.m. Thursday at Walnut Grove Baptist Church. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
