Mary was the daughter of Robert William White and Lillian Carnois Miller (McCourt). She was stillborn at home on 2145 East Sergeant Street. Her twin was Lorraine Caroline White who lived almost two weeks. She was buried at Glenwood Cemetery. Lorraine White (1927-1927) was buried at Oakland with their other two sisters- Caroline Fitzgerald (1928-1980) and Lillian White (1930-1931).

In 1938, remains from the Glenwood Cemetery at Ridge Avenue & 27th Street in Phildelphia were reinterred in Glenwood Memorial Gardens in Bromall, Delaware County.
