Monday, 19 March 1973

Alford, Mrs. Rosa Gremillion—Died at 6:15 a.m. Saturday, March 17, at the MediCenter, Baton Rouge. She was 91, resident of Livonia and native of Chennault. Body at Niland's Funeral Home, Livonia. Religious services at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church, Livonia, at 10 a.m. Monday. Burial in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, New Roads.

Survivors include six sons, Coleman, Bill, Freddie, Freeland and Henry Alford, all of Livonia, and Roman Alford, Baton Rouge; three daughters, Mrs. Mabel Bizette, Mrs. Ruby Tillman and Mrs. Verna Langlois, all of Baton Rouge; a sister, Mrs. R.F. Gourgues of Harvey; a brother, J.L. Gremillion, Gulfport, Miss.; 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
