A service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Home Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion. Burial will be in Salem Community Cemetery with full military honors by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. A viewing will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Fregm was born in Red Lion June 5, 1924, a son of the late William H. and Amanda E. (Kohler) Fregm.
He worked as a painter for Arnold and Son's Painting in York. He was a U. S. Marine Corps veteran of WWII. He was a member of the Craley Fish and Game Association, White Rose String Band, Happy Valley Boys and Pickin Pals. He often played at Carl Thomas's Pickin Parlor in Craley. Mr. Fregm is survived by two sons, Mark A. Fregm of Winterstown and Michael "Mike" Fregm of Red Lion; and a daughter, Pamela "Pam" A. Green of Columbiana, Ohio; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter; and a nephew, Clifford Snell of York, whom he raised as a son. A son, Victor R. Fregm Jr., preceded him in death.
