Linn County Coroner's records show that an inquisition was held to review the death of George Soule, bricklayer, who was injured on the 21st of May last when a building under construction collapsed on him.
Building was in progress with G W Lyon and Patrick Mullally, with Mullally in charge of the site.
Mullally was charged with carelessness and neglect by not securing the 40' store to prevent such a collapse.
