Obituary from Post Register (Idaho Falls, ID) - 16 May 1994:
RIGBY - Ted LeRoy Glenn, 57, of La Verkin, Utah, former Rigby area resident, trucker and Island Park backhoe company owner, died May 14, 1994, at his home of cancer.
He was born January 28, 1937, at Rigby, to David G. and Virginia Bagley Glenn. He received his education in Garfield Elementary and Rigby schools.
On February 13, 1954, he married Marilyn Grover at Rigby. Their marriage was later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple. They moved to Las Vegas, where he worked in construction for 14 years, and then returned to Idaho. He, with his wife, became a nationwide truck driver for Doug Andrus. They enjoyed these years together in the new adventures. He then started his own business, T and M Backhoe in Island Park.
An active member of the LDS Church, he served as stake activities director and in the Mutual. He also worked in the Scouting and Cub Scout programs. His hobbies were outdoors activities, hunting, camping, woodworking, building things and driving a dune buggy. He had built his own dune buggy.
Survivors include his wife of La Verkin; children, Mrs. Charles (Faylene) Nester of Idaho Falls, Mrs. Mark (Ronda) Ovard of Ammon, and Dennis L. Glenn of Las Vegas; three sisters, Ellen Killian and Mrs. Glen (Betty) Morgan, both of Rigby, and Shari Glenn of Lawndale, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four foster grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, his parents and a brother.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Archer-Sunnydell LDS Church with Bishop LaMar Wilcox officiating. Burial will be in Sutton Cemetery in Archer.
