Martin Came to the United States in the Year 1926 with the Family of his soon to be Father-In- Law Leandro Daniel Ortega who at this point had ten years of service working for the Southern Pacific Railroad. Martin started working for the same Southern Pacific Railroad Company in the same year of 1926 five years later he married Maria Refugio Ortega Chavez in the year 1931 they were married in Med ford, Sysikyou County, Oregon. Throughout the years that followed Martin and Mary were proud parents to nine children today their children are all married with children and Grandchildren of their own. Martin retired from the Southern Pacific Railroad in Roseville California in the mid 1970's. Today both Mom and Dad are with us in spirit we Love and thank our Parents and miss them dearly in our Lives..
