Survived by: sisters and brother, Winifred Ayers of Bastrop, Texas, Faye Taylor of San Antonio, Mary Lillian Howell of Mount Vernon, California, and Lubie Moss of McGregor, Texas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws who will remember her with love and admiration.

Ophelia is preceded in death by her husband, Carter; her parents, K.B. and Julia (Cowart) Ayers; two sisters, Doris Ayers Blackley of Waco, Texas and Evelyn Ayers Turner of Beeville, Texas; three brothers, Milton (Red) Ayers and O.D. Ayers, both of Carrizo Springs, and Walter Ayers of Monroe, Louisiana.
