ELYRIA – Moinelle Joyce Anderson (nee: Ormsby), 80, of Elyria, died May 28, 2014 at her home after a seven month battle with cancer. Joyce was born August 23, 1933 in Salem, Ohio and has been a sixty year resident of Elyria. She was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church.
Joyce is survived by her husband of sixty-four years, Robert J.; sons, Richard (Beverly) of Huron, Ohio and Steven (Linda) of Elyria, Ohio; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and step-mother, Paul and Thelma Ormsby; mother and step-father, Charlotte and Mel Peterson and a sister, Marcia Gonsalves.
Friends will be received Sunday June 1, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. A funeral service will be Monday June 2, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 300 Third Street, Elyria with Reverend June Hardy Dorsey officiating. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery.
