Friend Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Martha Friend, 79, widow of the late Stephen Friend, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Blanche Teets, Hoye's Run, on December 14, were conducted Friday afternoon, December 16, at 2:30, from the Oak Grove church, near McHenry, Rev. Carroll Skipper officiating. Interment was in the Hoye's Run cemetery.
Surviving are nine children, Mrs. C. S. Woods, Mt. Lake Park; Mrs. Bowser, Martin, Pa.; Mrs. N. R. Wood, Morgantown, W. Va.; Mrs. Ernest Lewis, Cassville, W. Va.; Mrs. Blanche Teets, Hoye's Run; Mrs. Daisy Sines and Mrs. Marie Fike, of Oakland; Alvin Friend, Hoye's Run; and Lenzy Friend, Akron, Ohio.
