Native of Walnut Grove; son of the late W. T. Aiken and Mary Lanford Aiken; husband of Nancy Elizabeth Aiken who died in 1957.
Employee of the City of Spartanburg for a number of years, had also worked in the office of N.F. McCurley Memorial Company.
Member of First Baptist Church and attended Walnut Grove Schools.
