A stroke late yesterday afternoon resulted in the death this morning of Mrs. Nic Beth, 68, Two Rivers, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Weggo Nagle, in that city. Mrs. Beth had been in good health up until the time she suffered the stroke.
Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 8:30 o'clock from the Klein and Stangel funeral home and at 9 o'clock from the St. Luke's Catholic church at Two Rivers. Interment will be in Holy Cross cemetery.
Mrs. Beth, nee Mary Lamach, was born in the town of Gibson Nov. 21, 1870 and was brought to Two Rivers with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Lamach, when very young. The family lived on the site of the present Community building. About 45 years ago she was married to Nic Beth. Mr. Beth died 16 months ago.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Weggo Nagle and Mrs. John Williams of Two Rivers, and Mrs. Ervin Hoffman of Manitowoc; one son Roland, Two Rivers; three brothers, Emil Lamach of Grand Rapids, Mich.; Anton of Ludington, Mich., and James of Philadelphia, Pa.; and two grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today. The rosary will be said Wednesday evening at 7:45 o'clock.
