On Friday May 30th, 2014 at 3:15 A.M. at 90 years of age, Brother Andrew Quire Sr. walked up the stairway to heaven at Baton Rouge General Hospital.

Bro. Andrew Quire Sr. was in the U.S. Army and fought in World War II, he also retired from Ideal Cement Co.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, mother Lillian Polk Leonard, his loving and caring wife Earnestine Walker Quire, his father Kinch Quiette Sr., siblings Henry Dunbar, William Leonard, Johnson Leonard, Earl Leonard, Annie Leonard Holden Louis Quiette,
Geneva Q. Wilson,
Lubertha Brown, Lucille Hill, son Carlos Quire, daughter Carolyn Little, granddaughter Natasha Dixon, and son in law Wendell Albert Wetherspoon.

Cherishing his memories: sisters Susie Leonard Perkins & Elsie Leonard Jackson, brothers Kinch Quiette Jr., John H. Quiette of New Orleans, LA, Feltus Quiette of Los Angeles, CA, son Andrew Quire Jr. Of Glendale, AZ, daughters Linda Wetherspoon of Arlington, TX, Shakeirah (Mario) Johnson of Allen, TX, Angelo Moses, Freda Gee, Faye Glover all of Louisiana, stepson Terry (Glenda) Richard,

grandchildren, loving and caring grandson Kenneth Moses, Natalie Wetherspoon, Kayci Wetherspoon, Raphael (Jeremy) James, Antwoin Harden, April Quire, great grandchildren Elexus Willis, Justin Johnson, Andriana James. Also a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Family & friends are invited to dine with the family immediately after the interment in the Church's Fellowship Hall.

Religious service at Magnolia Baptist Church, 960 East Buchanan St., Baton Rouge.
