Ray served in the 10th Mountain Division in the U.S. Army during WWII. He worked for Blue Line Storage Company for 43 years. After retirement, he and Bea enjoyed traveling to all 50 states and throughout Canada.
Ray is remembered by his children: David Ancell of Lansing, MI, Jeanne Paschall of Lima, OH, Beverly Conrey of Murfreesboro, TN and Cindy Dunahoo of Brentwood, TN; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Larry and Leo Ancell; and one sister, Joan Floden. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Bea; and three siblings.
