Lois was the daughter of John H. and Sarah McFarland Brown and the wife of Fern Galloway. Lois was the sister of G. Raymond Brown also buried in Welcome Cemetery. She and Fern had two sons, Fern Austin (Sonny) and David Roger and one daughter, Lois Elaine. After her husband's death, Lois attended nursing school and became a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). She worked as a private duty nurse until 1988 and was a loving caregiver.
