Leo Wiest, age 58, of Highland, died on Tuesday, July 29, 1975 at the Iowa County Memorial Hospital. He was born July 8, 1917. Mr. Wiest was a member of the Catholic Knights.
He is survived by two brothers, Carl and John of Highland; three sisters, Mrs. Vernon (Frieda) Toay of Ridgeway, Mrs. Albert (Catherine) Weier of Hollandale, Mrs. Walter (Rosalia) Roelli of Shullsburg; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Peter in 1942 and his mother Anna in 1951.
Funeral services were held at St. Anthonys Catholic Church, Highland, at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 1, the Rev. George Grotkin officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. The McGuire Funeral Home, Highland, was in charge of arrangements.
