Florence Fite was born in Colton WA the daughter of Frank and Anna Fite. She lived at Colton until 1920, when she moved to Genesee and then to Lewiston, Idaho.

Florence worked for the next 10 years as a waitress at the Manhattan and Majestic restaurants and the Raymond Hotel.

She married Harry Stamps Baker, July 10, 1924, at Lewiston; he was a Lewiston fire chief.

Florence was the mother of two daughters. She had five grandchildren and one gr-grandchild, and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Died at age 79 years, 9 days.

Florence's husband, Harry Stamps Baker, was a gr-grandson of Dr. James and America Ford of Wabash, Indiana.
