AMOS LESHER, 75, Greencastle R D 3, died Saturday evening in the
Waynesboro Hospital after an illness of two years. He entered the hospital Jan. 3 and had remained in the Intensive Care Unit until his death.
Born Oct 6, 1903 in Antrim Township, he was a son of the late Jacob Grove and Estella (Hollinger) Lesher.
A member of the Macedonia United Brethren Church and the Men's Bible Class of the church, he was a retired farmer.
He and his wife, Charlotte Emma (Barnhart) Lesher. were married Nov 6, 1929 and had lived at their current residence since their marriage.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Ray C Lesher. Greencastle R D 3. one sister. Mrs. Alice Sollenberger, Mercersburg R D 3, one brother, Ross Lesher, Greencastle R D 4, and two granddaughters.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m in the Macedonia United Brethren Church, with the Rev Lesher Misner officiating. Burial will be made in the adjoining church cemetery.
Friends may call at the Zimmerman Funeral Home Greencastle, Tuesday from 7 to
9 p.m and at the church one hour before the services Wednesday.
