About 1862 she married James B. McFarland, son of Daniel McFarland and Patty Crawford Bell, and widower of Sarah (Miles) McFarland. They made their home in Lunenburg, VT.
Their children were Cora Ella (died at 4mos), Elden Eugene, and William H.
Her husband, James, died in Sept 1879 in Lunenburg, VT.
On Oct 27, 1883 in Saint Johnsbury, VT she married Joseph Bebe Soper, son of Joseph B. Soper and Amy/Anna Bebe, and widower of Jennie (Winn) Soper.
In 1900 she had 4 children with 2 living; so she either had another McFarland child or had one with Joseph Soper. The 1910 census said she had 4 children with only 1 still living (that was Elden McFarland).
Joseph's children from his 1st marriage were Etta Belle, Charles Nelson, Stella M, and Emma F.
Etta Belle died in 1869 in VT at about 6mos old; Emma died in 1882 in VT at 2yrs; Stella died in 1886 at 9 years old not long after they had moved to CA.
Joseph died in 1913; Mary didn't remarry.
