Ed Sefried, 90, Dies; Funeral At McLeansboro
Ed Sefried, 90, died at 11:00 a.m. Monday at his home in Belle Prairie. H was a retired farmer.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Gholson Funeral Home in Mcleansboro with the Rev. Richard McCormick officiating. Burial will be in Crouch cemetery near Belle Prairie.
The body will lie in state at the Gholson Funeral home in McLeansboro where friends may call at any time.
Mr. Sefried was born Sept. 11, 1877, in Hamilton county, the son of Albert and Mary (Schuster) Sefried.
In 1908 he was married to Jane Byram, who survives. He is also survived by three sons: Clayton, Claytus, and Olin Sefried. all of RFD 2, Dahlgren, two daughters, Mrs. Mary Wilcox of Keenes, and Mrs. Imogene Ritchason of RFD 2, Dahlgren; and one grandchild.
