"George Alderman, age 20, son of Melvin Alderman, of Brookfield, was instantly killed at about eight o'clock Saturday evening, when the car he was driving struck Grant Calhoun's truck, parked side of the road near the latter's residence. Mr. Alderman's neck was broken and his skull fractured. With him were Floyd Jaquay and William Roundy. Neither of the latter was hurt seriously. State troopers from Hamilton investigated the accident. Coroner O. S. Langworthy stated that Mr. Calhoun's truck was off the highway so that he was guilty of no negligence.
