PETER DENOR (d. 1926)

PNEUMONIA TAKES LIFE OF PETER DENOR, 72
Weakened by the inroads of pneumonia and the infirmities of his seventy-two years of life, together with a sudden stroke, Peter Denor, for more than fifty years a resident of Manitowoc county, succumbed at his home at Franklin last evening. Death, though sudden, did not come wholly unexpected but is a shock to his many friends and relatives.

Mr. Denor was born in Germany, on March 27, 1854 and in early youth removed to this country with his parents, taking up residence in Clarks Mills where he lived up until the time of his marriage to Katherine Lensmeyer in 1877
when the couple took up a residence on a farm in Franklin where they have since resided. In late years Mr. Denor retired from active farming.

Seven children, all of which are living, were born to the couple and with the widow, survive, Mrs. Eva Kroner, Mrs. Rose Riederer, Peter, Joseph, John, Charles and Frank, all of Manitowoc county. One brother, Wencel of Rockland
and two sisters, Mrs. Math, Lensmeyer of Franklin and Mrs. Sebastian Schuh of Brillion also survive and there are thirty-two grand children and two great grandchildren.

During his life, Mr. Denor was an active church member, having been a member of the Holy Name Society of the Catholic Church, and will be buried at Kellnersville on Monday at ten o'clock, the Rev. Father Rous officiating at the rites.
