Born July 21, 1925, at Chattaroy, she was a daughter of the late A. J. and Nellie Hewlett Wellman. She was also preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
She was a member of the Slaters Branch Church of Christ.
At the time of her death, her survivors included her ex-husband, Bill Parsley of Lenore; one son; one daughter; and three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Robinson and Mrs. Sue Stepp, both of Chattaroy and Mrs. Florence Benner of Summerland, B.C.
Funeral services were held at the Weaver Mortuary chapel with minister John McCloskey officiating. Burial followed in the Stepp Cemetery at Fairview.
