Gerald F. Richardson, age 76, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away Saturday, June 14, 2014 at his home.

He was born in Harrison, Arkansas on August 31, 1937 to the late Bryan and Birdie (Patton) Richardson.

Gerald had been employed as a track foreman for Missouri-Pacific Railroad and he was a veteran of the United States Army. He had lived in the area for the past 35 years, coming from Omaha, Nebraska. He was a farmer, and a member of First Baptist Church in Yellville.

He is survived by his wife, Chloe (Doshier) Richardson, of the home;

three daughters: Pam Lock and her husband, Mike, of West Chester, Pennsylvania; Sandra Garland of Atlanta, Georgia; and Lori Brooks and her husband, Darnell of Roswell, Georgia;

two sisters: Johnnie Fortner of Yellville, Arkansas; and Wanda Wilson of Harrison, Arkansas;

six grandchildren: Amon Davenport, Ashley Balentine, Lauren Lock, Lindsey Lock, Dalen Brooks, and Sean Brooks.

Gerald was preceded in death by his parents;

four sisters: Thelma Adams, Mava Wagoner, Coyita Cantrell, and Leota Treat;

and two brothers: W.H. Richardson, and Doyle Richardson.

Visitation for Mr. Richardson will be Tuesday, June 17, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at First Baptist Church in Yellville, Arkansas.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church in Yellville, Arkansas with Bro. Rick Pyron officiating.

Interment will follow at Patton Cemetery near Pyatt, Arkansas.
