MAVA WAGNER
Mava Wagner, 70, Seneca, died Monday, April 26, 1993, at the Nemaha Valley Community Hospital in Seneca. She had a heart ailment.
She was born April 20, 1923, at Pyatt, Ark., the daughter of Bryan and Birdie Patton Richardson. She attended Pyatt schools and was a graduate of the high school there in 1942. She moved to Wagoner, Okla., where she lived with her aunt Vernie Casey, and worked at the Wagoner variety store.
On November 6, 1943, she married Murray Wagner at Wagoner, Okla. They moved to Seneca in 1944. Mrs. Wagner was a clerk at the Strathman Department Store in Seneca several years.
Mrs. Wagner was a member of the United Methodist Church in Seneca.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jack, on December 12, 1973, two brothers, W. R. Richardson and Doyal Richardson, and a sister, Coyita Contrell.
Surviving are her husband, Murray WAgner of Seneca, two sons, Bradley Wagner of Seattle, Wash. and Tim Wagner of Seneca; two daughters, Mrs. Elmer (Alice) Lackey of Seneca and Mrs. Leon (Nancy) Broxerman of Sabetha; a brother, Gerald Richardson of Yellville, Ark, four sisters, Thelma Adams of Sheridan, Ark., Johnnie Richardson Fortner of Chico, Calif., Wanda Wilson of Harrison, Ark. and Leota Treat of Wichita; and 8 grandchildren.
Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday April 28, at the United Methodist Church in Seneca, with Rev. Charles Bond officiating. Burial will be in Seneca Cemetery.
