Antonio Acevedo, 52, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, June 15, 2014. Born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico and moved to New Brunswick in 1981. Antonio was employed by the Hyatt Regency Hotel in New Brunswick as the Supervisor of Housekeeping for 27 years. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel RC Church and an avid Yankee Baseball fan.
Predeceased by his brother, Marcelino, Antonio is survived by his devoted parents, Marcelo and Margarita Acevedo; his loving sisters and brother, Rosalia, Alejandrina, Brunilda and Rene Acevedo.
Visitation will take place today from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ. A Funeral Mass will follow on Wednesday, June 18th at 10am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel RC Church, 75 Morris Street, New Brunswick. Interment at St. Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswick, NJ.
