MILTON PELTIER

Milton Peltier, 62, of 4618 Forest Hills Dr., Two Rivers, longtime dairy operator, died Monday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers, and at 10 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Rev. Paul Schumacher officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Mr. Peltier was born Aug. 22, 1908, in the Town of Mishicot, a son of the late Eli and Ida Fehrman Peltier. He attended the district shool and Mishicot Community High School. In earlier years he was associated with the operation of the former Two Rivers Dairy and for a number of years later operated a distributorship for Verifine Dairy. In recent years he developed Forest Hills Subdivision on his rural property north of 45th Street, Two Rivers. He was a member of Two Rivers Elks Lodge No. 1380, Mother of Hope Council No. 1957, Knights of Columbus, and the Two Rivers Lions Club.

Surviving are his wife, the former Josephine Benzinger, whom he married Oct. 22, 1929, a daughter, Mrs. James (Joan) Estes of Norman, Okla.; three sons, Warren of Manitowoc, Wesley of Sheboygan, and John of Brown Deer, Wis; two sisters, Miss Olive Peltier of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Stella Tomchek, Manitowoc; three brothers, Ivan of Glenolden, Pa., Vernon of Mishicot, and Roland of Charlevoix, Mich. and 13 grandchildren.

Friends may call at the funeral chapels from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday with memorial services to be conducted by the Two Rivers Elks Lodge at 7 p.m. and the family and Knights of Columbus services will be at 8 p.m. At 8:30 p.m. members of the Two Rivers Lions Club will attend in a body.

Memorials may be sent to the Cancer Society or Holy Redeemer Building Fund.
