Eli Peltier, son of George Peltier and Henriette Ruelle, was a native of Mishicot, Manitowoc, Wisconsin. He married Ida Fehrman, daughter of Ernst Fehrman and Frances Shellbauer, on 24 Nov 1891 at Francis Creek, Manitowoc County. They were the parents of nine children, eight of whom survived to adulthood. Eli was widowed in 1955. He died at the age of 90 and was interred in Holy Cross Cemetery in Mishicot.
