Mrs. Alma Quickel Bair, widow of H. Smyser Bair, who was president of York County Gas Co., died Sunday at 7:30 p.m. at her residence, 30 S. Beaver St.
Mrs. Bair was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, York County Historical Society, York Hospital Auxiliary and for many years served on the board of the Children's Home of York.
There are no immediate survivors.
Her pastor, The Rev. Dr. Martin W. Hopkins, will conduct a private funeral service Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at John D. Jackson Funeral Home, 1205 E. Market St. Burial will take place in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
