Son of Charles F. Earle and Emma (Cooley) Earle.

Mr. Ray F. Earle, 84 of Lee's Summit MO, died on July 11th, 2005 at Lee's Summit Hospital following complications from diabetes. A brief resident of Lee's Summit, having moved to the area after nearly 30 years in Arizona, he was the father of Allen L. Earle a long time resident of Lee's Summit and an employee of the Metropolitan Community Colleges.

Ray served in the Navy in both World War II and the Korean War.

After war he worked as Chief of Communications and Records for the VA Hospital in Danville, IL. During semi-retirement he also worked as maintenance manager for the apartment complex where he resided and a celebrity tennis ranch in Phoenix area.

Ray was preceded in death by his wife Audrey Earle; sisters, Julia May Barnes, Katherine Louise Blye, and Mary Ellen Burgeson and brother: Paul Edward Earle.

In addition to Ray's son, Allen Earle, surviving relatives include a daughter, Sharon Knight of Tilton, IL; brother, Joseph Earle of Cayuga IN; sister, Dorothy Stuebe of Tilton, IL; four granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be Friday, July 15th at Raintree Community Church in Lee's Summit, MO, followed by military honors at the military cemetery in Higginsville that same afternoon. Arrangements by Heartland Cremation & Burial Society.
